Description

SKF Withdrawal Sleeves: Can be used to mount bearings with a tapered bore onto a cylindrical seating. They can be used on plain shafts allowing the bearing to be positioned as required and locked into place or on stepped shafts with a seating ring to set the bearing off a shoulder before locking it into position. Differing from adaptor sleeves, they are pushed into the bearing by a locknut on the threaded shaft, they then permit a larger locknut to be used to withdraw the sleeve from within the bearing for ease of dismantling Benefits: Re-useable, adjustable, positive location, easy to dismount |
