Steel Maintenance Free Male Rod End with PTFE Liner: These rod ends consist of a Steel body with a Steel ball running in a PTFE maintenance free liner captive in a Steel ball mount. Benefits: Cost-effective replacement bearing, sliding surfaces are steel against PTFE, and maintenance free. Note: These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover them with grease or similar protection where practical. Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Steel, which will be attracted by magnets. Quotations for non-magnetic versions are available upon request. |
