Stainless Steel Maintenance Free Male Rod End with PTFE Liner: LEFT hand thread male rod end consisting of AISI 420 Stainless Steel body with an AISI 440C Stainless Steel ball running in a PTFE maintenance free liner captive in an AISI 304 Stainless Steel ball mount. Benefits: Cost effective replacement bearing, sliding surfaces are steel against PTFE, maintenance free Note: These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover with grease or similar protection where practical. Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Stainless Steel, such as 440 or similar, which will be attracted by magnets. Quotations for non-magnetic versions are available upon request. |
