Description

Stainless Steel Rubber Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearings: One of the most commonly used bearings, these thin section types are manufactured with rubber seals inserted into the outer raceway and in contact with the inner race providing protection against the ingress of moisture, dust and other foreign matter and serve to retain the pre-filled grease in the bearing.
Seals can be easily removed for applications that only require 1 seal.
Benefits: Prevents moisture and dirt getting into the bearing, lubricated for life, resists corrosion, food safe and approved
Note: These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover with grease or similar protection where practical. Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Stainless Steel, such as 440 or similar, which will be attracted by magnets. Quotations for non-magnetic versions are available upon request.
