Metal Shielded Deep Groove Ball Bearings with Snap Ring: A popular choice where the housings is part of a machine frame casing, these bearing types are manufactured with metal shields offering some protection against mechanical damage and serving to retain the lubricant in the sealed for life bearing. The snap ring is made from a spring steel material and fits into an annular groove around the outside of the bearing which is offset to one side. |
