Mild Steel Clevis Pins with Zinc-Plated Finish: These heavy-duty clevis pins (also known as link pins or hinge pins) are manufactured from mild steel (DIN1434B). Clevis pins are fasteners that are inserted through an application and then secured in place with a cotter pin to prevent two pieces from moving relative to each other. These pins are ideal in environments where there is vibration as these pins are secure and not likely to work loose.
These pins are completed with an electroplated zinc finish which is primarily used for cosmetic purposes due to the bright silvery appearance of the finish. Additionally, the finish also prevents galvanic corrosion.
