Description
Imperial Internal Circlips: The most common form of axially fitted circlips for bores with pre-machined grooves.
These clips serve as retainers for items such as bearings where it may be impractical to create a dedicated machined step to locate them, either as a result of a design constraint or just down to cost. The circlip has a large free diameter and gap width, consequently, it fits more tightly into the groove and provides higher and more uniform thrust load capability. Lugs with holes are provided for rapid fitting or removal with circlip pliers.

Safety: Circlips are compressed or squeezed together for installation, they can fly off at high speeds if extreme care isn't taken. It is recommended for your own safety to wear safety glasses when fitting.
