Description

SKF SONL Split Plummer Block Housings: SONL plummer block housings are split housings consisting of a cap and base. They are made of grey cast iron and are painted block using a water based alkyd/acryl paint which protects the housing in accordance with ISO 12944-2, corrosivity category C2 (i.e. exterior atmospheres with low level of pollution, interior atmospheres where condensation may occur). The housings have a deep reservoir that holds a large volume of oil so that heat can be dissipated effectively. The housings have four holes cast into the base for attachment bolts.
Benefits: Strong, stiff and simple design, simple mounting, deep sump for lower operating temperatures.
