IGUS igutex TX3 Filament Wound Bushing: TX3 Bushings are self-lubricating, heavy-duty bearings made from a unique combination of mineral materials, synthetic resins, and additives, bonded under high pressure and temperature to create durable composite fibre plain bearings. The tough fibreglass fabric outer layer protects an inner layer designed to minimize friction and wear. These bushings consist of two layers: a gliding layer, constructed from filament fabric with integrated solid lubricants, guarantees maintenance-free operation with very low friction. The base layer, fortified with resilient filament fabrics, offers excellent protection to the inner layer optimized for sliding performance. The TX3 series is ideal for continuous operation at the highest loads. The TX3 also has the lowest wear rates under extreme dry-running conditions.
